About Saint Francis Hospice

We welcome all people at Saint Francis Hospice regardless of race, age, gender, sexual orientation, faith and belief or disability. Our services are completely free of charge to you.

We care for all people (adults aged 18 and over) in our community who have been diagnosed with an advanced illness. The hospice works with GPs, community nurses and hospital doctors. We help manage pain and other problems that illness can cause.  We aim for comfort and the best possible quality of life.

And we care for people in our community at the end of life. We support all carers, family and friends who may be caring for a loved one. We also offer a children’s bereavement service.

We care for those who are bereaved, isolated or lonely as a result, with compassionate care, advice and support.

Please see our website for more details sfh.org.uk/services.

We are here for you

Your health and well-being, grief and sadness matter. We don’t just take care of the people who are ill, we look after everyone who loves and worries about them. If you are bereaved, feeling isolated or alone, then call us on 01708 758649.

What is an online tribute fund?

An online tribute fund is a timeless way to remember your loved one, to celebrate and share your treasured memories. You’ll also be helping other families receive care from Saint Francis Hospice when they need it most.

You can share memories, stories, photos and videos, and even light a virtual candle. When someone you love has died it leaves a hole in your life.  As time goes on you realise that your loved one’s life may have ended but your love and memories will live on in your heart forever.

Why set up a Timeless Tribute?
We know that every loss is very personal, and everyone finds their own way to cope with their experience. Often, people find comfort through doing something meaningful that honours the memory of the person they have lost and create a lasting tribute to them. This is what a tribute fund is all about.

  • It’s a personalised place where you, your family and friends can add photos, videos and stories creating and sharing a wonderful online memory box of time spent with your loved one

  • It can help family and friends to keep in touch, supporting one another through the grieving process

  • Use your page to share information about the funeral, anniversaries or any other important occasions with your family and friends

  • It is user friendly and easily accessible on a PC, tablet or mobile phone so you can upload content wherever you are

  • There is no cost to you, and it will be yours to use for as long as you want. It can remain online permanently or for a specific period, allowing the memories of your loved one to live on for future generations

  • You can set your own privacy settings, giving you full control of who sees your content

  • You may see a previously unseen photo of your loved one or hear a story you knew nothing about.

Thank you

We are so grateful to you for supporting the Hospice in such a special way and hope that you will find it comforting as you develop your tribute page.

Every donation made in memory of your loved one will go towards helping us raise the £21,000 a day we need to provide our specialist end of life care and support services to people living in Brentwood, Havering, Barking and Dagenham, Redbridge and West Essex. Thank you
